The Manifesto

The Snob Code.

A few rules we live by. Feel free to break them — once you've earned it.

01

Sip it. Don't shoot it.

Tequila is meant to be tasted, not endured. A good pour will tell you a story — agave, oak, earth, citrus, sometimes a little black pepper. You'll never hear it if you're trying to chase it with a lime.

02

Read the bottle.

"100% de agave" isn't a flex. It's the floor. Below that is mixto — sugar-cut tequila that gave the whole spirit a bad reputation. If you only learn one thing from us, learn this.

03

Know the styles.

Blanco: the agave, undisguised. Reposado: rested in oak, softened. Añejo: longer in barrel, deeper, almost whiskey-adjacent. Extra Añejo: showing off. Cristalino: a controversial conversation for another day.

04

Glass matters.

A shot glass is a punishment. A snifter or a proper tequila glass lets the spirit breathe. We make ours because we got tired of explaining this at parties.

05

The people you pour for matter more than the bottle.

The best tequila in the world doesn't beat the right people, the right night, the right reason to slow down.
